Welcome to the interactive concept plans for the Bathers Way extension into King Edward Park.

The Bathers Way extension into King Edward Park will extend from the previous works at The Terrace carpark, through King Edward Park, connecting to Shortland Esplanade and through to South Newcastle Beach.

We are excited to show you what's planned for this next section of Bathers Way and sought your feedback between 18 June and 5 August 2024.

It’s easy to view the detail included in the concept plans:

  • Navigate across each of the concept options (the same way you use Google maps)
  • Click on the dark pink and yellow information markers to view:
    • the expanded element information
    • the current view

Once you’ve explored all that the concept options have to offer you could:

  • Pick your comment type

  • Type what you’d like to say
  • Upload a photo if you have one
